This is the logo for my production company, "Awkward Turtle Productions." My group and I have created it using Photoshop. We used the fill comand to create the blue background and then we copy and pasted the hands onto it. The background colour is the same blue that we used for the 'Facespace' logo. This is because we wanted it to match the 'Facespace' logo so it showed a link between them for the audience. We then copy and pasted an image of a cut into the centre of the hands, which we had to crop to fit, to show that there is going to be some sort of horror element to the film. Some production companys and distributors somethings change their logo slightly to match the opening titles, for example Warner Bros in Harry Potter and Walt Disney in a number of their films. Then, as a group, we did the writing for 'awkward turtle' in a font that we thought could be our signature style font and then we slightly changed the 'productions' once again to add the horror element to it.
Josh is part of our group. He came up with the "Angeldust" idea to start with. He has been creating the 'facespace' pages on Photoshop. We are planning to animate on top of them for our opening sequence when we edit the footage that we get on our shoot day.
