As a group we decided that instead of having footage of our unsuspecting victim 'Angel 3323' (This is what we decided to call her) getting ready and walking out the door and then having the rest animated, we decided that to make it look better and make the story clearer, we needed more footage to set up the story, which is what we wanted in the very first idea. So we shot clips of her making blogs, posting videos of herself 'innocently' about things she does in the day, things that she has got etc. onto 'Facespace' (this is why we made her all bubbly and innocent, the light helped to create this because it didn't cast any hard, dark shadows on her face this contrasts with 'Lester 727'). This backfires on her, as she gains the interest of a serial killer called 'Lester727' who makes videos of people and animals mutilating themselves after taking the drug 'Angeldust' (I made the angel dust we used for filming by using a small amount of flour
with a tiny bit of suger mixed in to break the flour up) hence the title of the film. He thinks of it as an art form and has a page on a forum website called Artbox, which claims to sell art and displays it and also recuites people as models for artists, which is how 'Angel3323' gets reeled in, but actually deep down it creates a cover for a network of sick and twisted serial killers and murders in general and anyone that enjoys watching people and animals die (Still using the blue gel over the strip light so that there was a graphic match between him and 'Angel3323', we place the light in a way that created hard, dark shadows on his face making him a menacing character. We used lots of different camera angles so that the audience would never see who he was completely to keep him a mystery.)
They get talking on 'Facespace' and end up meeting. 'Lester727' reels in her by talking to her to make her feel comfortable with him and then he takes her to a 'special' place, which is where he films her mutilating herself under the influence of 'Angeldust'. Her mutilating herself isn't seen in the opening sequence, it is only refered to, so the audience can use thier imaginations.
On shoot day we started off discussing the shots we definately wanted. This is how it all changed because we decided that we wanted to film more but still animate using a program called 'After effects'. In the end our entire idea, that we had planned, changed completely.
As a group we then went off to our new location, my room in Hurtwood House. We chose my room because we could close the curtains and use artificial lighting which we controlled and made it look like the light coming from a computer.
The room is also quite big so when had lots of room to work with.We set up the camera in the corner of the room so that a bed was in shoot so it was clear to the audience that 'Angel3323' was in her bedroom. We tried to make it look like the camera was the web cam in her laptop, so all the action was directed straight to the camera. This is quite unconventual because most TV shows, films etc the action is directed away from the camera because otherwise it breaks the forth wall and isn't naturalistic.

By using strip lighting placed under her face and the camera, out of shoot, it created the effect of the laptop screen light shining on her face. We only used one camera angle for the shots of 'Angel 3323' because we wanted all the action to be directed at the camera because she is making blogs and that is what people do when they make blogs.
We did all of the shoots of 'Angel3323' one after the other, so that we didn't have to keep moving from location to location. We would cut up all the shoots and place them in the right order later by using Final Cut Pro..
After we had finished 'Angel3323's' shots, we moved to are other location, a small office in the media edit suite, to film 'Lester 727' our killer looking on the internet and typing etc.. The room was small and there were two computer screens, which suggested that it was 'Lester 727's' command centre where he conducts all of his operations and that it was all very secretive.

To create an errie atmosphere, we covered a strip light with a blue gel and used two computer screens to light him up. The blue lights act as a graphic match between 'Angel3323' and 'Lester727'. The whole aim of this character is that nobody knows who or what he looks like. A Banksey like character except instead of doing harmless art like Banksey, he goes around killing young women and filming it and calling it art, he also compares himself to the artist Damien Hirst, who he talks about on the forum website "Artbox". The only people that know who he is for a very short while are the girls he attacks, in this case 'Angel3323'. So when we were filming we had to make sure that whatever part of him we filmed wasn't obviously recognisable, so that the audience didn't know exactly who he was, therefore destroying the point of the film, (a mystery to find out who he is). We wanted it to be a mystery for the audience so everything we filmed of 'Lester727' was all in close up or extreme close up. We did close ups of his hands typing and clicking the mouse from different angles, for example POV of him typing, CU's and ECU's. We also did shoots of his eyes and mouth and his chin, this is where we used water and dripped it down our actors face to create sweat. We never did any clear shoots to show who he was. The light also helped us because it created lots of hard shadows all over his face making him hard to see and recognise from his features therefore keeping him a mystery. Throughout the whole day we all took turns to use the camera and as a group we all decided on what we wanted the shoots to look like, whether they looked good and making some suggestions to make it better. Anything on the day that we thought would add to the story or make it more exciting or interesting, we set up and filmed. We also all took turns to decide what we wanted our actress to say. Because we has changed the idea that day we hadn't got a script so everything was improvised, so all credit goes to our actress Chloe. I think this allowed us to come up with lots of different and interesting shoots to make our opening sequence interesting and mysterious. It also gave us more options to work with, allowings us to make it look more visually dynamic.
The shoots of 'Angel3323' and 'Lester727' will be intercut with each other and with the 'Facespace' and 'Artbox' pages we created on photoshop. This means we will have to use a program called 'After affects' to make parts move for example we wanted to have animated typing as if it was 'Lester727' typing himself.
As for props and costume on the day it all had to be improvised because of the change in idea. Luckly our actress lived in the house we were filming in so she grabbed a variety of different tops and trousers and changed from shot to shot to make it clear that it was a different day.
Props weren't essentual for the sequence now apart from the angel dust and the plastic bag, and a necklace. The necklace we were going to use, Chloe already had on and the pretend angledust, I had already made for our previous idea so we were set.
